A week in South Korea
I have been visiting Seoul for work. I thought Korean cars’ model names were quite interesting, maybe indicating the impact of business life on social status. The last photo is not as clear as the others, it says “president” at the back of the car.
I hadn’t realized how the Korean culture is heavily oriented around power structures spearheaded by the large conglomerates, until multiple IDEO folks mentioned it to me. This is enlightening. Thanks Engin.
Indeed, it was interesting to feel the weight of big companies like Samsung and LG. On the other hand, I thought companies like Nexon were inspiring for how they were started and became solid firms. I like their karting game
